Virtual Learning Environment
At Leighton Park we are always keen for our pupils and teachers to be able to work together to enhance learning. We have therefore developed a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) for our pupils to use.
The VLE allows subjects to provide revision pages, with notes from the teacher, links to useful websites and online discussion forums, where pupils can discuss progress and offer support to each other.
The advantage of the system is that pupils can access the resources from anywhere they have an internet connection and teachers can be sure that resources are always available to pupils.
As well as for academic use the system is proving very popular with our activities programme. We already have pages for Senior Book Club, Philosophy Club and the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
