Careers advice

There is a substantial careers programme, including work experience and individual tutorial guidance.

Transition to Sixth Form

It is assumed that pupils will continue their studies at Leighton Park, which the vast majority of pupils do, either following the A-level programme or the IB Diploma Programme.

A transition programme, Horizons, has been developed to support pupils in their selection of subjects and course and to introduce the changes that will arise in their approach to study. This includes a Sixth Form Open Evening, a Sixth Form Induction programme, detailed consultation with staff, and a taste of the social programme which is such an important feature of life in the Sixth Form.
