David Lean Award
Sir David Lean, whose films include Dr Zhivago and Lawrence of Arabia, was a pupil at Leighton Park between 1922 and 1926.
In 2002 the trustees of his foundation set up the David Lean Award. This award may be made, on the basis of the scholarship examinations to an exceptionally talented pupil. No separate application is necessary as all candidates will be automatically considered.
