Cricket Pitch
Cricket Pitch and Pavilion
The cricket grounds are situated in picturesque surroundings offering visitors to the Park a relaxing setting to enjoy playing or watching cricket. The pitch is maintained to County standards.
The cricket facilities include a pavilion with 2 large changing rooms, showers and toilets and small kitchenette with access to water boiler.
The cricket grounds includes
* a score box
* 2 sight screens
* covers
* stumps and bails
The cricket square is prepared by a member of the grounds staff on the morning of the event. If the cricket match needs to be cancelled due to inclement weather, the grounds staff will advise the group. If a member of the grounds staff is required to be present all day this can be organised at an additional cost. Groups must provide their own equipment.
If a white cricket ball is used, please advise the Leighton Park office so that sight screens may be blacked out at an additional cost.
Cricket Nets
There are 4 outdoor cricket nets with astro turf surface. Stumps are provided but groups must provide their own equipment.
Cricket Teas
Groups are able to bring their own packed lunches. Cricket teas may be provided by Chartwells at an additional cost. A week's notice is required. Please contact The Leighton Park Enterprises office for further details.
