Staff
Activity Staff
All staff are hand picked from the teaching profession, colleges and universities. They are chosen for their integrity of character, personality, enthusiasm and sincere wish to instruct and guide your children.
The qualified and experienced activity team leaders manage a team of lively and energetic staff. Together, they ensure the health and safety of your child during their stay at Leighton Park.
We are very fortunate that many of our staff return each year sharing their knowledge and experience. It also means that children returning to the course from a previous holiday will recognise familiar faces.
Training
All our staff are required to take part in Leighton Park's in-house staff training and development program working towards Ofsted's National Standards.
All staff will have successfully completed a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check before working with the children along with having atteneded a First Aid and Safeguarding Children course.
All staff take part in the staff induction programme covering various aspects of the day to day running of the Holiday Activity Scheme such as:

Specialised training on the safe running of day to day activities
Including site specific training documentation
