House Music 2008

Once again, the House Music competition provided a rousing end to the term with its mix of fine performances and electrifying atmosphere. We were delighted to have guest adjudicators - trombonist Emily White, musician Jason Rebello and drummer Jerry Brown to judge a tightly fought inter-house battle.

The winners were:-

Solo Performer was James Ross (Clarinet)

Original Composition went to Olivia Wheeler-Robinson for her stunning performance of 'Alice in Wonderland'

Small Ensemble was won by Field House for 'Just'

Large Ensemble also went to Field House for 'The Final Countdown'

The overall winners this year were Field House. Our congratulations go to all the Field performers and we would like to thank all those who took part - the judges were extremely impressed with the calibre of talent at LP.
