Fryer pupils' production of School's Out was the highlight of a spectacular Fryer Festival on 23rd June, performed to a packed hall. A selection of poems, dramatic pieces (both comic and thought provoking) and music covered many aspects of school life, and making the current pupils realise that school in the 21st century isn't that bad, after all!
The production was followed by lunch in Oakview, with children (and even some adults) relishing the extra treat of candy floss and ice cream, while pupil jazz musicians provided entertainment. The rain held off enabling children to enjoy games outdoors with the prefects. We hope that for the families joining LP in September, it was a warm welcome to the school.
