Successful South Africa Tour group are home...

The Hockey and Rugby Tour to South Africa was so much more than just a sport tour for both students and staff.  Both teams achieved notable wins against stiff opposition, often playing in surroundings vastly different to home.  But in addition to this, the highlights included wildlife spotting on safari and out at sea, trying out some interesting foods, spectacular sightseeing but above all, spending time at the Heideveld High School.

The tourists quickly made friends with pupils there and the group presented sports equipment to the school, paid for by pupil fundraising and the PTA. Touring the township area where the children live made a lasting impression on the tour group.  The tourists were a credit to the school, wherever they went, both on and off the field; we are very proud of their achievements.
