Winning streak

Week ending the 12th October saw Leighton Park rugby and hockey  teams achieve great successes:

The 1st XV rugby team beat Bearwood College 27-19, and the Bs won 38-12; the girls hockey U18s won 8-0 against Reading Blue Coat, and the U16s drew 2-2 against Wellington, with the U14s beating the Abbey 1-0.

The U13 mini-hockey team are now joint holders of the Reading Schools Mini-Hockey League Plate: they won their semi-final against The Elvian 3-0, and after extra time in the final against the John Madejski Academy, the result was still a 0-0 draw.
