OL Sport
Some of the most popular events for OLs are the various fixtures throughout the year. Football, cricket and hockey matches against the school are regular favourites and the Rugby 7-a-side tournament is now a regular event.
On Saturday 17th September was the OLs Rugby 7s tournament and a new event, Mixed Hockey. A team of this year's leavers joined the OL sporting community, pitting their talents against teams from 2010, 2008 and 2006.

Once again, the matches were played in great spirit and with an enthusiastic crowd of supporting friends, staff and parents, with this year's winners, in a result down to points difference, 2008.
The plan for 2012 is to complete the day with a dinner in the evening.
In November 2010, 7s teams from 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010 battled it out, with the 2006 team, "The Blacks" winning. It was a great afternoon of sport, and we welcomed a large crowd of OLs and their parents and staff as supporters too.
Not to be left out is the legendary Old Leightonians Cricket Club, describing themselves as "the home of jovial cricket". New members, of all standards are always welcome. Please see their website for more information www.olcc.co.uk.
