Reunion for 1979 and 1980 Leavers

1979 and 1980 OL reunion

Over 40 OLs from the year-groups who left in 1979 and 1980 came from as far afield as the USA, Russia and France as well as from  all around the UK, to a reunion on Saturday 8th March. Former Head Bill Spray and his wife were also able to attend, along with some staff from the time.

Leighton Park School re-union

It was a day of heightened emotions, from the joys of meeting up with old friends, swapping stories and revisiting old haunts, to a moving Meeting for Worship, with Ministry about the passing of Simbo Ntiro and Henry Frankish, and reflections on the path of life. It was strange how much smaller studies now seem than 30 years ago.

Lunch and tea in Oakview were the first experience of central dining for most, and were greatly enjoyed, particularly the profiteroles.
