What's on for OLs
We are working to offer a programme of events for Old Leightonians of a variety of ages and interests. We also are happy to welcome former students who would like to drop in to school. OLs are also welcome to join the current school community at a number of events for current pupils and families. Please contact the OL office for more information or to let us know you are coming.
Saturday 3rd March: A morning of OL Football and hockey, against the school teams. Contact Sam Vinden via Facebook or Mark Simmons in the OL office.
Thursday 15th March: An evening with the Artist: at the Museum of Reading Robert Gillmor Retrospective. Enjoy the exhibition, meet Robert Gillmor, have a drink with friends and browse the bookshop of Robert's work. Tickets £10 (£7 concessions) available from the OL Office. Click for more information.
OL Quaker Pilgrimage: Live adventurously
Friday 11th-Monday 14th May 2012: .
Click here to see the draft programme. Cost £150 tbc. Visit, or for some of you, revisit the birthplace of Quakerism, enjoy the companionship of other OLs and of course enjoy the stunning scenery. It is a busy programme and you need to be sufficiently robust for fell walking to keep up, and for your own safety. Due to limited numbers at this point, unfortunately there is not space for partners, though we will operate a waiting list. For more information contact the OL office.
Saturday 19th May 2012 tbc: "2s" Reunion: Class of 2002, 1992, 1982, 1972, 1962, 1952 and 1942! This is also for those who left post GCSE or O level in 2000, 1990, 1980, and so on, to see the rest of your yeargroup.
Saturday 8th September: OL Rugby 7s Tournament and Mixed Hockey, followed in the evening by a dinner in Oakview. Details and dinner pricing tbc.
Please contact us for information about any events or for tickets on 0118 9879611 or email Old Leightonians Office.
