PTA

Life at school is supported by an enthusiastic Parent Teacher Association (PTA) which arranges a variety of social and fund-raising events.

In the transition to senior school, many parents miss the interaction and friendship of the playground, so these events provide a great way for parents to get to know members of staff as well as each other. Events may also raise money, either to support the school’s current nominated charity or for a specific project that will benefit the pupils.

In recent times, the Association has: hosted two spectacular summer Balls, the fantastic Elvis Night, refreshments at the Cafe Cabaret event, refreshments at Summer on the Park and the Sports Championships; hosted a popular (if rather competitive!) Quiz Night and an International Evening .

PTA members are also on hand to offer friendly advice at events such as Annual Open Morning, Fryer Festival and the Newcomers’ Evening. Please contact us if you would like to get involved, whether regularly or just for a one off event you are always welcome.
