The evening was a great success with Leighton Park boarders, Old Leightonians, and an impressive attendance from parents and pupils, particularly from Year 7, all joining in the fun.

It was a closely fought contest of 7 rounds masterfully created by Chris and Julie Liebert.  Congratulations to the winning team The Castaways. Though not gold doubloons they still enjoyed their prizes!

The prize for the wittiest team name went to team ‘Long John and Short Elizabeth’.  Not inspired at all by the presence of a Head and Deputy Head teacher but rather by the team’s extensive knowledge of the book ‘Treasure Island’, which themed the evening!

A delicious fish and chip supper provided by Chartwells’ staff in Oakview was enjoyed by all. Profits from refreshments and snacks provided by the PTA will be split between The Autistic Society and the School Pavilion project. 

Congratulations to all the younger pupils and children who participated with such enthusiasm in the evening.
