Sport
Sport remains an important part of life for Sixth Formers, and students choose at least one afternoon of games each week from a wide variety of activities to suit both team and individual players, including: rugby, cricket, netball, hockey, football, tennis, athletics, swimming, basketball, badminton, trampolining, aerobics, dance and weight-training. A full fixtures list is arranged for team sports.
Music
Students play and perform in a wide range of styles of music, from jazz, rock and indie, to chamber, orchestral and choral. Instrumental lessons are available on many instruments, from oboe to electric guitar. Sixth Formers enjoy using facilities such as the digital recording studio, music technology room and Steinway concert grand piano. There are also plenty of opportunities to perform, including the concerts almost every week.
Drama
Students are encouraged to take part in school productions. Each year major productions are staged, sometimes in conjunction with the music department. Many opportunities also exist for pupils to be involved in theatre production backstage or in technical work.
