Field House
Field House
Built in 1964, Field House is now home to 93 students following its conversion to a fully co-educational house in September 2007.
When it was built the house was very much out in the open on the Park, it literally overlooked the fields - hence its name.
The house is headed up by Mark Simmons, the Housemaster.
House Successes
In the last ten years, Field House has won the Richard Coleman Shield, the main house trophy which incorporates all sports events, no less than eight times.
Whilst the present house champions are from the other side of the Park, Field House is currently overall champion in rugby, football, basketball, cross-country, road relay and tennis.
With its fine sporting tradition the house has always entered the House Music competition to enjoy the event. However, having never won this trophy before, Field did finish first in 2005 and are also the current House Music Champions!!
