Academic

Academic Awards may be made at each level i.e. Junior (Year 7), Senior (Year 9), Sixth Form (see Scholarships for further details).

Requirements

For the academic year 2011/12, the closing date for applications is 22nd November 2010, and scholarship applications can not be received after this date.  Pupils will be invited to sit the scholarship examination if the achieve a sufficiently high standard in their entrance test results.  Pupils will have the option of sitting either a Humanities paper and a General paper, or a Science paper and a General paper.

Pupils who succeed in obtaining a scholarship at Leighton Park will not be required to submit Common Entrance exams results.

Sixth Form Academic Scholarship examinations

Students will be invited to sit the Sixth Form Scholarship examination with appropriate predicted grades and reference/ reports.
