Visit us

We are always pleased to welcome prospective parents and pupils. A number of opportunities are available for you to visit during a normal school day:

• Tuesday Open Mornings: Ideal for those at the early stages of considering schools, these comprise a short introduction to Leighton Park by John Dunston, the Head, followed by a tour of a boarding house with a house-master, then a tour of the school. These open mornings generally last 2-3 hours and will take place on Tuesday mornings.  The next date is: Tuesday 21st September 2010.  Please call the Admissions Office to book a place (Tel: 0118 987 9608).

• Individual appointments: These can be arranged for most weeks during term time, and occasionally outside term time too.

• Annual Open Morning: There is a major Saturday open morning every year, the next being on Saturday 2nd October 2010; the morning runs from 10am to 12.00 noon. Presentations by the Head will be given at 10.15am and 11.00am. 

• Sixth Form: We hold a Sixth Form open evening in November each year.  Please contact the Admissions Office for further information.

School Tours

All tours of the school are with a current pupil and, in addition to the main teaching areas, include areas of interest to specific year groups as follows:

• Years 7/8: spend approximately 30 minutes in Fryer, the junior house, with Roger Aylward, the Housemaster;

• Year 9 or above: see one of our senior boarding houses;

• Lower Sixth: meet Ken Sullivan, Head of Sixth Form.
