Sixth Form Centre
Opened in September 2006, the new Caradon Sixth Form Centre provides a further focus for senior students, offering leisure, ICT and study facilities. It enhances the distinction of the Sixth Form and strengthens its particular sense of community.
Caradon offers students the options to:
-
Work in the study areas, equipped with computers and wireless broadband;
-
Research careers and further education options;
-
Cook snacks or meals in the modern kitchen or simply pop in for coffee and a chat between lessons;
-
Relax in the lounge and walled garden.
Ken Sullivan, Head of Sixth Form, and Karen Gracie-Langrick, Deputy Head of Sixth Form and IB Co-ordinator, have office space in the centre, making them easily accessible to students.
All Sixth Formers belong to one of the senior houses, but Caradon offers them an additional base of their own.
See Sixth Form and Sixth Form Curriculum for further insights into Sixth Form life.
