Request a prospectus/visit via the website, or by calling the Admissions office, on +44 (0)118 987 9608.

Registration: complete an Application Form and return it with the registration fee of £100, or £150 if the person who will pay the school bills either is domociled outside the EU or needs a visa to enter the UK (non-refundable). NB: Applications can only be considered from pupils who will be 17 or younger upon entering Leighton Park.

Entrance Tests/Interview:

for entry to Years 7-10: All pupils must sit the Leighton Park entrance tests under exam conditions (English, Maths and Non-verbal reasoning).

all Year groups, including Sixth Form: Pupils whose first language is not English must sit an English as an Additional Language test, under exam conditions, in order to demonstrate that their command of English will enable them to cope with the demands of the curriculum.
NB: These tests can often be taken at their current school or, if you are applying through an agent, at their offices.

Reference: On receipt of a registration form, and with parents’ agreement, we will request a confidential reference from your child’s current school, together with a copy of their most recent school report.

Offers

for entry to Years 7-10: Places are offered approximately two weeks after receipt of the entrance tests, and are based on performance in the entrance tests, as well as upon the reference and report from your child’s current school.

for entry to the Sixth Form: Conditional offers are made based upon the reference and report received from the student's current school. In addition students must achieve the equivalent of at least Six GCSE passes at grade C or above, with grade A* - B in their chosen AS level subjects. For IB applicants Six GCSE passes at grade C and above with grade B in subjects they are studying at higher level.

Accepting a place for EU Nationals: please complete and return an Acceptance Form with a deposit of £500.

Accepting a place for Non-EU Nationals: please complete and return the Acceptance Form with the equivalent to a full term’s fees i.e. £7210 for Years 7 or 8, £8480 for Years 9 to Upper Sixth. The first £500 is payable on acceptance of a place, and is not normally refunded if a place is not taken up. The balance is due two weeks prior to the start of the term of entry. If a place is accepted less than two weeks prior to the start of the term of entry the full deposit is due. This deposit will be credited to the final account of those who enter the school. NB: A full term’s fees will be payable in addition to this deposit and will be invoiced.

Accepting a place for Non-EU Nationals resident in the UK: please complete and return the Acceptance Form with a deposit of £500.
