Following another successful year of exams please find below a summary of our students' achievements.
International Baccalaureate Diploma 2011
2011 was our first year of IB Diploma results and we were delighted in the achievements of our first IB cohort.
-
One student achieved a score of 40 points achieving the equivalent to 3 A*s at A Level
-
A third of students achieved a point score of 38 which is within the range requested for Oxbridge admission.
-
Three students were also awarded a Bilingual Diploma.

The average point score was 35 per student, against a global average of 29.8
A Level Results 2011

For the fifth successive year students achieved a pass rate of over 99% and an average of three or more A Level passes each.
-
38.6 % of all passes were grade A*/A.
-
Three or more A*/A grades were achieved by eleven students with one achieving three A*s.

These results reflect the combined results for the A Level and Higher Level IB scores.
Note: IB students take six subjects, three at higher level and three at standard level. The scores achieved in the higher level subjects are comparable to an A Level grade, so for example a point score of 7 is equivalent to an A* at A Level.
GCSE results 2011
- 98% of pupils achieved five or more passes at grades A* -C.
- 48% of all grades were A*/A; 20% were at A*.
- Pupils achieved an average of 9.2 passes each.
