Fees and charges

We aim to be upfront and transparent about our fees. This is why they cover many of the costs that other schools charge extra for, like breakfast, lunch and dinner, co-curricular activities, supervised prep and the flexibility to take advantage of a longer school day. There are some charges for optional extras and examination fees, which are detailed below.

Students at Leighton Park also benefit from exceptional individual support underpinned by a teacher student ratio of 1:6.7. Tutors are responsible for 11 tutees, significantly fewer than a norm of 20-25, and see their tutees three times every day. Find out more below or read about what makes Leighton Park one of England’s top performing schools.

A few things to note:

  • Fees are payable in advance on the first day of each term, along with any extra costs incurred the previous term. You can pay by bank transfer, cheque or credit card
  • We offer a fees refund scheme that provides a proportionate refund of fees in certain circumstances if your child is absent from school for a qualifying period due to illness or injury. The charge is 1.05% of the termly fee and is charged in advance on fee bills. Please contact the Bursary at accounts@leightonpark.com if you would like to opt into this scheme.
  • Fees for the following academic year are decided by our Board of Governors towards the end of each Spring Term
  • Leighton Park offers means-tested bursaries of up to 100% of fees and scholarships of up to 30% for students with exceptional talents.
