Leighton Park is always proud to share student achievements with the community, in line with our ethos of achievement with values, character, and community. Our students Jess (Year 10), Sam (Year 8), and Daisy (Year 10) have demonstrated remarkable dedication, spending significant time training and competing, culminating in outstanding performances at the Regional Pony Club Championships over the bank holiday weekend.
All three students competed across multiple disciplines with Sam securing an impressive 8th place in Dressage, while Jess finished 7th in the same event. Jess also achieved 5th place, and Daisy 30th, in the 80cm show jumping competition, out of a challenging field of 160 riders. Both Daisy and Sam finished in the top 15 in eventing, a testament to their skill and hard work.
Jess’s successes continued in the middle of August at the National Pony Club Championships, where she placed an outstanding 5th in the highly competitive 90cm eventing class. She will now proudly represent Leighton Park at the Schools’ Equestrian Games Championships this month. In addition, both Sam and Daisy are set to compete in the upcoming 70cm championships.
