Fun and Festivities

Students and staff were delighted to get into the festive spirit at the end of term with a selection of seasonal events and experiences guaranteed to banish any humbug tendencies and spread Christmas cheer around the Park.

Tuesday 15th December saw the School welcoming those adorned in Christmas knitwear to Registration, and for a Covid-19 twist this year the traditional jumpers were frequently accessorised with a festive mask. Some of our beloved teachers enjoyed the dressing so much that they decided to go the extra mile and appeared in elf suits to perform a flash mob dance in Oakview restaurant during the Christmas lunch! Thanks and wonder go to Richard Duckett, Head of History and Politics, for his stupendous santa together with to his fabulous dancing elves, Senior Master, Mark Simmons; Head of Lower School, Adrian Simmons; Head of Sixth Form, Helen Taylor and Field Housemistress, Jakki Marr; for their brilliant choreography and entertaining dance moves to the tune of ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town’. If you weren’t there, you can still catch them in action!

Thanks also to the School’s wonderful caterers, Thomas Franks Ltd, headed up by Alessandro and Candi, who created a scrumptious Christmas lunch for all to enjoy complete with all the trimmings including crackers, sprouts and yule log!
