On Tuesday 29th March, the 1st netball team took on St Joseph’s College on neutral ground at the University of Reading’s Sports Park. The Tuesday Night Under the Lights Netball Match saw LP return to the Park victorious with a final score of 27-21. Support for the evening was not in short supply as students and staff used their co-curricular time to cheer on the girls with banners in hand.
Head of Netball, Zoe Macpherson, exclaimed “What a superb match! A great atmosphere with the supporters. Thank you to St Joseph’s for a fantastic event!”
The Sport, PE and Wellness Department frequently enjoy the use of facilities at our neighbouring Sports Park as part of the school’s partnership with the university.
