Some of our more senior Old Leightonians enjoyed a busy day back at Leighton Park at the recent Vintage OL Day. A chance for old school friends to catch up, some who hadn’t seen each other for 60 years or more; all agreed that despite the years, that they, and also the spirit of the School was unchanged, despite new buildings, and even, the presence of girls!
2019 style school dinners were enjoyed and some of the youngest students, in Fryer House, enchanted the guests taking them on tours of the School. The highlight of the day was the launch of the new book “Great Ideals Reaffirmed: Leighton Park School and World War Two”. It was a particular delight for some of those who had been here during the War to be present and share their memories.
