We are delighted to announce the commencement of our new Digital Device Scheme (DDS) that we have developed in partnership with Easy4U from September 2025. This partnership allows us to offer a device fully compatible with School systems for lease or purchase, including a comprehensive support package providing cover and insurance for accidental damage and theft. This device, although paid for and owned by parents, will be fully managed by the School with all our academic, pastoral and monitoring software installed. More generally, students will find these devices faster, more ergonomic and offer better functionality than the previously used Chromebooks. We have selected a device that is touch capable, and comes with a pen, to allow for more diverse learning approach.
Students joining Year 7 – 11 and Pre-Sixth, are required to enter a rental agreement for a device from Easy4U. This ensures all students are using the same device which can supported by Leighton Park’s IT team

This scheme is also available to Sixth Form Students. However, Sixth Form students can bring their own laptop or tablet which must be able to access Google Classroom. These items should not be brought to School unless they are marked with the owner’s name.

Boarders are permitted to bring their own devices for use outside of the academic school day.
Students in receipt of a means tested bursary will receive the same percentage discount on their device costs as on their fees. For example, a student on a 30% bursary would have a 30% discount on the monthly device costs.
Scholarships do not contribute towards the Digital Device Scheme.
Parents will be given a unique code to use when they place their order. Please do contact the Admissions Team if you haven’t already received this.

Yes, students will still need a device via Easy4U for their other lessons.
The Music and Media Department has a complete class set of Apple MacBooks and a fully equipped video editing suite of Macs in the David Lean studio. These devices offer the appropriate software packages, are supported by the IT department and are available to all students in Years 10 and 11 undertaking Music GCSE and/or BTEC Level 2 Creative Digital Media Production. It is not necessary for students to have their own Apple device for these subjects as they are expensive and unnecessary for the other GCSE options.
Bring it directly to the IT Helpdesk on the first floor of Townson. The School will keep a stock of spare machines and will be able to lend you one whilst they fix yours.
During term time, Easy4U collect devices on a regular basis from Leighton Park. Easy4U will repair the device offsite and return them to the School as soon as possible.
You can purchase a replacement charger via the Easy4U webstore which is accessible via My School Portal under Parent Actions or via easy4u.school/order with the login code ZWK5DYC.
