Inspections

"Pupils achieve a good academic standard benefitting from excellent curricular provision and a wide range of opportunities beyond the classroom. They are increasingly achieving success in national competitions in mathematics, in music, drama, debating and games; and they bring a positive and thoughtful attitude to their learning." Inspection regime for Independent Schools

In common with all Independent Schools, Leighton Park is regularly inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) to ensure high quality provision.

The ISI place the student at the heart of their inspections, with children’s wellbeing, character and personal growth considered alongside academic progress and learning attitude. Unlike Ofsted, the ISI do not make a single overarching judgement of a school but instead give an assessment of each aspect of a school’s provision.

Leighton Park had a compliance inspection in 2017 and an integrated inspection in 2014. These reports are available on the ISI website via the link below.

Pupils' personal development is excellent and they fulfil the school’s aim to educate young people to have integrity and honesty, and be a force for good. They see the appropriate behaviour modelled by adults in the community and benefit from outstanding support, guidance and care.
