Our Upper Sixth Psychologists travelled to Vue Westfield in Stratford, East London, for a series of ‘Grade Booster’ workshops run by specialist tutor group, Tutor2U. Tutor2U cinema workshops are designed and delivered by experienced teacher and examiner presenters, all of whom have a deep understanding of what students need to focus on to succeed in the Summer 2026 exams. The Grade Booster workshops, delivered in the Vue Cinema, focused on the exam techniques that will help students maximise their performance through four sessions.
The all-day experience aimed to complement the revision of the A Level Psychology course in preparation for this summer’s public examinations and to set up our keen psychologists for the hard work they will need to undertake over the Easter break. “The fast paced revision tips and strategies to support he last push for revision were great; lots of excellent materials were included too!”enthused Claire Gulliver, Head of Psychology. The sessions covered included research methods, issues, debates and approaches, writing effective answers, and a valuable ‘up a grade’ session to conclude the afternoon.
Psychology is offered at A Level and on the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) at Leighton Park and is a popular choice with our Sixth Form cohorts. To learn more about this interesting option for Sixth Form study, take a look at our course finder.
