Our Soloists’ Concert, held on Tuesday 5th November, offered a stunning celebration of individual musical talent.
The programme featured a rich mix of classical, contemporary, and original works, highlighting the versatility and creativity of our young musicians and Music department.
Performances ranged from Chopin’s elegant piano waltzes and Fauré’s lyrical Élégie to vocal theatre numbers from Hamilton and Wicked. The evening also included jazz and pop interpretations, alongside instrumental showpieces for bassoon, cello, saxophone, and French horn.
The second half continued the variety with classical sonatinas, lyrical arias, and modern favourites, as well as original compositions and songwriting that showcased impressive individuality and confidence. The concert concluded with a fabulous drumming finale .
A true reflection of our ‘Music for All’ ethos with a variety of music genres, instruments and year groups.
