Year 9 and 10 students enjoyed an exhilarating day at Thorpe Park on Sunday 10th May, bonding over thrills, speed, and looping roller coasters.

Home to the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the UK, Thorpe Park offered over 25 rides, giving students the chance to create unforgettable memories together. From high-speed drops to daring twists and turns, the day was filled with excitement and laughter.

Our boarders also joined in the fun, experiencing one of England’s most popular theme parks while strengthening connections across year groups. The trip provided a fantastic opportunity for students to socialise, build friendships and enjoy a shared adventure outside the classroom.

This has not been the only bonding experience for Year 9 this year. At the beginning of the academic year, the cohort took part in a weekend trip to Gulliver’s World and Cadbury World. The weekend was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with friends from Fryer House after the summer break, while also warmly welcoming new Year 9 students into the community.
