Double Berkshire County Hockey Champions!

Congratulations to our U15 Girls’ Hockey Team and U16 Boys’ Hockey Team, who have both been crowned as the Berkshire County Champions.

Both teams remained undefeated throughout the entire tournament, with the U15 Girls delivering an especially remarkable defensive performance by not conceding a single goal during play.

Head of Hockey, Matt Richards, praised the girls’ achievement: “The girls have shown so much improvement over the year. Having won the Berkshire league earlier this year in the Autumn term, the girls followed through with winning the County tournament yesterday. I am super proud of all of them for what they’ve achieved – the best in the county! A wonderful team with great spirit and support for each other, they all worked so hard”. Furthermore, ecstatic with the boys’ result: “It was a fantastic day, their attitude was incredible, they worked really hard, they wanted to do well, and they learnt a lot on the day too. They applied themselves as athletes and hockey players really well. It was great to get some solid wins under our belts with lots of goals being scored”.
