Picking up on the Park

Our enthusiastic community of boarders were out in force on Saturday 10^th June as they enjoyed the sunshine on the park armed with bin bags and litter pickers! The afternoon was dedicated to picking up the dropped and abandoned pieces of rubbish that were spoiling the green and pleasant vista. The collectors did well to fill a total of five black bags and were pleased with their efforts.

Pablo Gorostidi-Perez, AMICUS Co-ordinator, described the afternoon as  “a successful event, with 12 boarders involved. Despite the high temperatures, they managed to collect garbage for a bit less than two hours. We divided ourselves in four teams and covered different areas of the School. We did not need to leave the school. We collected five full bags of garbage, including an orange traffic cone.”
