The Year 11 celebration dinner was a spectacular event in Oakview on Friday 23rd June. Students were delighted to have finished their GCSEs and excited to begin their new-found holiday freedom by partying with their friends. Everyone looked incredible, dressed to impress with sequins, satin and silk galore!
Thomas Franks, our School’s caterers, produced yet another delicious meal, selected by the students as their favourite option for the dinner. For the starter they tucked into nachos with guacamole, cheese sauce, jalapenos and sour cream. The main course was rib eye steak or a vegetarian burger with triple cooked chips, filled mushroom with herb crumb and a confit of cherry tomato and green pepper corn sauce. For dessert the students selected ice cream with sweet chocolate sauce and sprinkles.
The evening included a number of awards created and presented by the students themselves; offering plenty of laughter alongside the glamour!
