On the 31st March, the last day of term, Year 7 and Year 8 pupils took part in an Easter Egg hunt!
The event was organised together with the Fryer House tutors, by Adrian Stewart, Head of Lower School and Sharon Deller, House Manager. The groups were organised by four Houses, Bentsi-Enchill, Cadbury , Fox and Tubman as they collected eggs around Fryer House building and the Fryer House Dining room in a race against time to win!
After the search, the pupils thoroughly enjoyed consuming the milk and white chocolate fountains covering pieces of fruit, brownies and marshmallows! There was a buzz around the room as the pupils chatted and rested on the sofas with their friends whilst trying not to get messy fingers celebrating their end of term achievements. The timing was perfect as the choc fest took place during period 1, just before Final Collect when our Fryers had to sit still and be quiet for over an hour, filled with chocolate energy!
Their treat acknowledges the students’ hard-work, whilst also building up a sense of a strong community-feel and giving everyone a great send off into the Easter break!
