Celebrating Wellbeing Week 2025

We held our annual Wellbeing Week, from Monday 12th May, reinforcing our commitment to nurturing the holistic development of students. Running in conjunction with the national Mental Health Awareness Week, created by the Mental Health Foundation, our programme was filled with activities aimed at promoting mental, emotional, and physical well being – reflecting the School’s Quaker values of peace, equality, and community.

A highlight of the week was the much-anticipated ‘Dog Day,’ where students had the delightful opportunity to interact with staff members’ dogs. The presence of these friendly pups brought joy to the School community, underscoring the therapeutic benefits of animal companionship.

Our dedication to pastoral care has been recognized nationally, having received the Independent Schools Association (ISA) Award for Excellence in Pupil Personal Development in 2022 . The School’s approach ensures that each student is supported not just academically, but also emotionally and socially.

As Wellbeing Week 2025 concludes, we reflect on the success of its initiatives and looks forward to continuing its mission of fostering a supportive and compassionate environment for all students.
