Each year group had their own Christmas party to celebrate the festive season with their peers.
Sixth Form Christmas Dinner
Sixth Formers swapped their usual business attire for sharp suits and glamorous dresses at the annual Sixth Form Christmas Dinner. As a festive prelude to the final week of term, LP staff donned catering aprons and took on the light-hearted role of waiting on students, serving a delicious menu prepared by our Oakview team.
After enjoying the warm and hearty feast, excitement filled the room as the awards were announced. Nominations ranging from “Most Likely to Become an Olympian” to “Best Bromance” and “Best Girlmance” sparked plenty of good-natured cheer.
Year 11
Year 11 students rounded off their first term as Year 11 with a relaxed evening of games, Christmas music, films, pizza, popcorn, and hot chocolate. Some couldn’t resist heading out to support the Senior Girls Hockey Team in their annual Under the Lights match – cheering them on to a fantastic win!
Year 10
For Year 10, it was game on from the start. A spirited Santas vs Elves football match set the tone for the afternoon, before everyone settled in for a cosy evening of pizza, popcorn, and a festive viewing of The Grinch in their hub.
Year 9
Year 9 students lit up the night at their very own silent disco! With glowing headphones and plenty of tunes to choose from, they danced the night away – recharging between tracks with popcorn to keep the energy high.
Fryer Christmas Party (Years 7 & 8)
The Fryer celebration was bursting with activity, featuring karaoke, music, Just Dance, tutor games, and heaps of popcorn. The Games Room buzzed with fussball, pool, and table tennis, before families joined in for mince pies and carols—a perfect way to bring the Fryer community together at Christmas.
