Eliza (Year 10) is delighted to have been offered an incredible chance to further her Dance talents by the prestigious Centre for Advanced Training Studies, a Dance academy based in Swindon. The programme is renowned for its success in developing young dancers through a series of day long classes each Saturday at their central Swindon studios staffed by leading professional dancers and teachers.
Beth Butler, Leighton Park’s Dance teacher, commented “I am so thrilled for Eliza. She is the first student from LP to have gained a place on this prestigious vocational dance training programme. This is a magnificent opportunity; clearly the audition panel saw her potential to pursue a career in dance if this is what she eventually chooses. The CATS programme will develop her skills in technique and choreography and fully prepare her for the rigour of the dance industry. The dance practitioners she will get to work with is incredibly exciting and I am really looking forward to seeing her perform with the programme next year.”
Eliza’s mother, Jane, commented “Thank you for your congratulations to Eliza. She loved the audition and was delighted to have been offered a place.” Eliza has since taken up her offer on the programme.
