Our Sixth Form Maths students, and a select group of Year 11s, participated in the UK Maths Trust Senior Maths Challenge, testing their skills against peers from all across the UK.
The challenge encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and fluency, in using mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems. This experience not only hones their mathematical abilities, but also nurtures valuable transferable skills for their future.
We eagerly await to see the results and who will successfully go through to the ‘Kangaroo’ round of the national competition. Good luck to all who took part.
