On Tuesday 3rd October, two teams from Leighton Park School headed to Ascot to participate in a six-a-side competition at the ISA Girls Football Tournament.
We’re delighted to announce a. Leighton Park’s Under 15 Girls team reached the Plate Final and earned well-deserved Silver medals. Meanwhile, our Under 13 Girls team secured a very commendable bronze. These accomplishments mark a historic milestone for our School, since they’re the first medals ever achieved for LP Girls football. This is a proud and promising beginning for everyone involved, and we look forward to more successes in the future.
Celebrating these fantastic early-season victories, Callum Beasley, Head of Football, expressed his enthusiasm, stating “Today was massive for the girls’ morale. To come away with a medal is a huge achievement for them all. Our focus is all about giving the girls the platform for playing football and we’ve now got a lot of happy girls as a result of a great full day of football”
