The recent day trip to Windsor on Sunday 1st December was an enriching experience for the Sixth Form IB students at Leighton Park School. The day began with a visit to Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. Students had the opportunity to explore its rich history, including its royal significance and impressive architecture. Afterwards, they enjoyed a leisurely afternoon in the charming town, taking in the picturesque streets and indulging in some Christmas shopping. The trip concluded with a traditional British Afternoon Tea at The Ivy Royal Windsor, where students savoured freshly baked scones, finger sandwiches, and an assortment of delicious cakes.
The International Bacc Diploma Programme (IBDP), is renowned for its holistic approach, combining rigorous academic challenges with a strong emphasis on creativity, critical thinking and global awareness. With a diverse range of subjects to choose from, students are encouraged to develop not only a deep understanding of their chosen disciplines but also the skills necessary to become thoughtful and engaged global citizens.
