Othello at The Oxford Playhouse

Recently, the Drama Department had the opportunity to discover the brilliance of Shakespeare’s tragedy, Othello, on the stage at The Oxford Playhouse.

“This award-winning, twenty-first century production was chosen to further students learning in GCSE, A Level Drama & Theatre Studies and IB Theatre.” commented Head of Drama, Peter Scoggins.

Peter continued, “This has been a fantastic occasion for students to see a contemporary theatre performance, of a play explored during the A Level course. As well as this, students have benefitted from seeing this modern adaptation by Frantic Assembly, as the course covers theatre companies and their styles.”
