The Sixth Formers were blessed with a gloriously sunny Monday on 20th June for the start of Adventure Week! They spent the day at the Wokingham Waterside Centre on Thames Valley Park with the team running games on katakanus and on stand-up paddleboards (SUPs). The group was organised into four teams of which two were on the water at any one time. The others cheered from the bank and chilled with their picnics, some enterprising souls discovering that UberEats could be an alternative to Oakview packed lunches for a change! The Waterside Centre team laid on a series of challenges which encouraged the Lower Sixth to jump from one watercraft to the next, run around each other’s boats and generally end up falling in! “It was great fun!” commented Deputy Head of Sixth Form, Richard Duckett.
