Co-Ed Sport Festival Day 4

Girls’ Boxing:

Today, our Year 9 and 10 girls embraced the challenge of boxing, participating in a high-energy session led by professional coach Liam Alloway. The session mirrored Tuesday’s successful mixed group workshop and focused on building core boxing techniques, pad work and defensive skills.

Peckover Hall was filled with determination and excitement as the girls strapped on their gloves and stepped out of their comfort zones. For many, this was their first introduction to the sport, and their enthusiasm was evident throughout.

Sophie, a Year 10 student, shared her thoughts: “I’m enjoying learning a new skill and having fun with my friends while doing it!”

The session not only helped improve physical fitness but also boosted confidence and teamwork. It was inspiring to see how much effort and focus the girls brought to the session, demonstrating a genuine interest in mastering the sport.

U14 Cricket:

Our Under 14 Boys’ also enjoyed a fantastic Cricket fixture against Reading Boys where the sun broke through just in time after typical British rain!
