As part of Lower Sixth’s continuing careers guidance and following their introduction to UCAS (The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service), on Monday 27th March, the year group attended a Discovery Exhibition at the Excel Centre in London.
Each year, the higher education exhibition, intended for people making post-18 choices, provides the opportunity to meet representatives from universities, colleges, and organisations across the country, and find out more about the options available to them.
Head of Careers, Sally Saunders, remarked “There were over 200 universities, colleges, and apprenticeship employers exhibiting today, giving the Lower Sixth so much to explore. Top universities from the UK and overseas were represented and students were able to ask specific questions about courses, accommodation, and life at a specific university. The Lower Sixth are at the start of the process, so it was great for them to be able to gather up to date information to help them narrow down their selections.”
