This weekend was full of thrills with Year 10, 11 and the Pre-Sixth at Thorpe Park, and day and boarding students visiting the West End to experience the spectacle that is Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre.
“Celebrating its 35th anniversary, Phantom of the Opera is considered one of the most beautiful and spectacular productions in history. An opportunity not to be missed!” commented Jack Robinson, Boarding Experience Manager and theatre enthusiast.
“Andrew Lloyd Webber’s production is based on the 1910 French novel of the same name by Gaston Leroux. It tells the story of a beautiful soprano, Christine Daaé, who becomes the obsession of a mysterious, masked musical genius living in the subterranean labyrinth beneath the Paris Opéra House.”
Before the matinee performance, the company settled their stomachs with a light lunch at Haymarket.
